Tutorial 3:

This is the image we will be working with. To get started, copy and paste it into Photoshop, then duplicate it to save a copy of the original image just in case anything goes wrong.
Duplicate the layer again. On this new layer, go to Blur > Gaussian Blur and set the radius to 2 pixels.
Set the blurred layer's blend mode to Soft Light. Now the image looks smoother and softer.
Copy and paste this texture on top of the blurred layer. This texture was rotated/flipped from the original, made by innocentlexys.
We're going to soften this texture by blurring it. Go to Blur > Gaussian Blur and set the radius to 8 pixels.
Set the blurred texture's layer's blend mode to Overlay. The following steps will correct the over-saturation of the current image.
Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation and set the saturation to -40.
Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Color Balance, with Preserve Luminosity checked. Select Midtones and set the color levels to -15, 0, +40. Then select Highlights and set the color levels to 0, 0 +20.
Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Curves and apply a curve that looks like this:
