Duplicate the layer again. On this new layer, go to Blur > Gaussian Blur and set the radius to 2 pixels. |
Set the blurred layer's blend mode to Soft Light. Now the image looks smoother and softer. |

Copy and paste this texture on top of the blurred layer. This texture was rotated/flipped from the original, made by innocentlexys. |

We're going to soften this texture by blurring it. Go to Blur > Gaussian Blur and set the radius to 8 pixels. |

Set the blurred texture's layer's blend mode to Overlay. The following steps will correct the over-saturation of the current image. |

Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation and set the saturation to -40. |

Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Color Balance, with Preserve Luminosity checked. Select Midtones and set the color levels to -15, 0, +40. Then select Highlights and set the color levels to 0, 0 +20. |
